Four Private Rooms, Eleven Experiences

The setup is four private rooms, each holding up to six players who suit up with headsets, haptic vests, and motion capture sensors. Players see each other's avatars in real-time and physically interact in the same space.

Eleven experiences are on the menu. The new one is “Age of Dinosaurs,” built in partnership with the Natural History Museum of London. Also available: “Stranger Things: Catalyst,” the “Deadwood” horror trilogy (Deadwood PHOBIA, Deadwood Valley, Deadwood Mansion), “Squid Game Virtuals,” “Rebel Moon: The Descent,” “Amber Sky 2088,” “Seekers of the Shard: Dragonfire,” “Curse of Davy Jones,” and “UFL: Unbound Fighting League.”

The in-house dev team has backgrounds from EA, Sony, and Ubisoft. The “Deadwood” series has a reputation for being legitimately unsettling.

Town Square's Entertainment Cluster

Town Square will have Sandbox VR alongside Activate and PopStroke, which means you could spend an entire day in that complex without going near the Strip.

Sandbox VR has hit $300 million in lifetime sales and operates more than 80 locations across 12 countries, with nearly 150,000 guests monthly worldwide. Owner and operator Cory Zhong cited the entertainment wing cluster specifically when talking about why the location makes sense, noting the foot traffic from PopStroke and Activate as a natural draw.

Before You Book

Sessions run for groups, not individuals — you're booking for your party, not joining a random lobby. “Age of Dinosaurs” and “Stranger Things: Catalyst” are both new enough that those specific experiences may run long on weekends. If the Deadwood trilogy is on your list, PHOBIA has the stronger word-of-mouth.

The free parking at Town Square matters: comparable VR at a resort property adds parking fees on top of the session cost.

Book through sandboxvr.com before June 12 if you want early weekend availability.
